Understanding What Equality Means.

Equality means ensuring that everyone has the same opportunities and is treated fairly, regardless of their background or personal characteristics. It involves removing barriers that prevent people from having access to the same resources, opportunities, and rights. This can include addressing issues related to race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.

In practice, equality seeks to create conditions where all individuals can participate fully and have an equal chance to succeed. This may involve providing additional support or accommodations to help individuals overcome disadvantages and achieve their full potential.

Zero Tolerance discrimination Policy.

Our Zero discrimination Policy reflects our firm commitment to eliminating all forms of discrimination within our organization. We will not tolerate any prejudice related to race, ethnicity, origin, sex, gender identity, medical decisions, body type, or any physical or verbal impairment in our hiring practices, workplace environment, or professional interactions. Any act of discrimination will result in immediate consequences, including termination of employment, cessation of communication, or nullification of agreements. Our aim is to create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment for everyone.

You Have Rights!

At the heart of our values is a fundamental principle: equality. We believe that everyone has the right to autonomy over their own body. Whether it’s embracing a same-sex marriage, undergoing gender reassignment, or making decisions about abortion, we don’t just support these choices—we genuinely believe in them. This isn't just rhetoric; it's a deeply held conviction. Your body, your choices; your mind, your decisions—it's all yours. We stand firmly by the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to shape their own path.

Our Legal Commitment

At The Frameworks Company, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect. Our policies and practices are rooted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws to ensure fairness in employment, partnerships, and business operations.

We strictly adhere to the Indiana Civil Rights Act (IC 22-9-1) and IC 20-33-1, which prohibit discrimination in employment, education, public accommodations, and housing. Additionally, we fully comply with Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlaw discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in any aspect of employment or federally assisted programs. These protections extend to all employees, contractors, and clients who interact with our company.

As an employer, The Frameworks Company upholds the Equal Pay Act of 1973, ensuring that individuals performing substantially similar work receive equal compensation, regardless of gender. We also adhere to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) of 1967, which protects individuals aged 40 and older from discrimination in hiring, promotion, and other employment decisions.

To promote accessibility and workplace accommodations, we fully comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, both of which prohibit discrimination against individuals with disabilities and require reasonable accommodations in employment, public services, and facilities. Employees or applicants requiring accommodations can request them through our designated HR processes, ensuring full inclusion in the workplace.

Furthermore, The Frameworks Company enforces the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to support employees during pregnancy, maternity and paternity leave, and medical or family-related absences. Under the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) of 2008, we also prohibit the use of genetic information in employment decisions, ensuring that employees and applicants are not subjected to bias based on their genetic predispositions.

We remain committed to wage fairness and ethical labor practices in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which governs minimum wage, overtime pay, and child labor protections. Additionally, workplace safety is a priority, and we comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment for all employees.

The Frameworks Company upholds protections for military service members and veterans under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), ensuring that those who serve in the armed forces are not disadvantaged in their employment and have the right to be reinstated in their civilian jobs. We also support the rights of immigrant workers under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) and adhere to the regulations outlined by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Harassment, retaliation, and any form of discriminatory or unethical behavior are strictly prohibited within our company. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward workplace misconduct, and any violations will be addressed promptly through thorough investigations and corrective measures. Employees, clients, and stakeholders are encouraged to report concerns to our HR team, and we assure protection from retaliation under whistleblower laws such as the Whistleblower Protection Act and state-level protections.

By embedding these legal protections into our core policies, The Frameworks Company is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, fair, and safe workplace for all individuals, regardless of background or identity.
